The real solution has always been extremely unpleasant for us humans on Earth – while the supposed solution is initially very, very pleasant!

Life has never been easy. Only very specific, few, and rarely discussed rules of life trigger great progress.

Too many people still believe in "eternal progress," in "steadily growing prosperity" without any special effort.

Most people don't see the pronounced "waves" of history, of life, even though all history books describe these waves.

The capable politician must be constantly "won over"! He is not an "automaton." He is very unpopular – even though, in the long run, he is the guarantor of a high, stable standard of living.

The incompetent politician, on the other hand, is very popular!

That's why he still holds sway over us today.

And this is true even in democracies...
